About Me

I am a Counseling Psychologist, Proprietor and Remedial Educator at Sunshine Counseling Center. I was practicing as School Counselor and Remedial Educator at Nalanda Learning Facilitation Programme from June 2019-June 2023. I was also a part-time lecturer at Sophia College for Women, Mumbai from July 2023-January 2024. I am adept at conducting personality assessments, psychometric evaluations, workshops and structured psychotherapies.

My expertise lies in effectively handling populations like adults, children with special needs (Learning Difficulties), adolescents, parents and teachers.

I have completed Bachelors of Arts in Psychology from K.C College, Mumbai in 2014, Masters of Arts in Counseling Psychology from S.N.D.T Women's University, Mumbai in 2016 and Bachelors of Education in Psychology from Singhania University, Jaipur in 2024. I have life membership of Counsellors Council of India and Bharatiya Counselling Psychology Association.

I use an Eclectic Therapy Model based on principles of Person Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Brief Therapy and Hypnotherapy.

Honors & Achievements

I was appointed as Counselor for “Online Counsellors workshop on National Career Service portal management & Career Counselling” organized by National Institute for Career Service and Directorate General of Employment Ministry of Labour & Employment (GOI) in 2022.
I was invited as a speaker, for my expertise on the topic "Specific Learning Disabilities" on the panel for a National Level conference titled "Beyond the Spectrum: Celebrating Neurodiversity" organized by Sophia College for Women (Autonomous) under the aegis of RUSA
